چکیده

Distal Radioulnar Joint (DRUJ) instability is a pathology without clear reconstructive procedure. Throughout history, numerous techniques have been described whose objectives to increase stability as well relieve pain. The main stabilizing element the Triangular Fibrocartilage Complex (TFCC) and, there are also secondary stabilizers among where Oblique Bundle (DOB) consistently located. We performed biomechanical study with three cadaveric arms verify influence of DOB on joint and performing new reconstruction technique hemi tendon carpi radialis longus extensor get distal radio cubital for fiber cartilage repair. There positive results in volar dorsal displacement ulna radius presented restore stability. proposed valid biomechanically effective option complement repair TFCC or unique if irreparable. This became important when you cannot athletes, recommended alternative can be done oblique soft plasty.

Modified minimally invasive extensor carpi radialis longus tenodesis for scapholunate dissociation: a prospective observational study

BACKGROUND Scapholunate dissociation is the most common form of carpal instability. However, there is no gold standard for operative treatment. In this prospective observational study on 54 patients, a modified minimally invasive dynamic extensor carpi radialis longus tenodesis is described, which is characterized by a smaller approach and application of a cannulated screw and washer for tendon...

The Prevalence of Calcifications at the Origin of the Extensor Carpi Radialis Brevis Increases with Age

Background: Enthesopathy of the extensor carpi radialis brevis origin [eECRB] is a common idiopathic, noninflammatorydisease of middle age that is characterized by excess glycosaminoglycan production and frequentlyassociated with radiographic calcification of its origin. The purpose of our study was to assess the relationship ofcalcification of the ECRB and advancing age.<br /...

Avulsion fracture of the extensor carpi radialis longus in a rugby player: a case report.

Avulsion fracture of the base of the second metacarpal is an unusual injury, and the cause in the few cases reported in the literature was a fall on a volarly flexed wrist. A case of this rare injury suffered in a sport related accident by a semiprofessional rugby player is reported. It was treated with open reduction and internal fixation after failure of conservative management.
